Licensed and Public Domain Images

• All images on our site are either licensed or in the public domain due to expired copyrights.
• This applies to the United States, Canada, the European Union, and countries with a copyright term of life of the author plus 70 years.

Database Integrity

• Our database contains more than 2000 images.
• If you find any image that you believe to be under copyright protection, please contact us immediately.
• We respect copyright laws, and any copyrighted image found on our database is promptly removed.
• Faithful reproductions of two-dimensional original works cannot attract copyright in the U.S. according to the rule in Bridgeman Art Library vs. Corel Corp.

Custom Order Acceptance

• Clients placing custom orders must certify that they have the right to reproduce any images they provide (that the images are in the public domain or that they have permission to reproduce them) and that they authorize us to reproduce them.

Creation of Custom Artworks

• We create artworks on customers’ behalf based on photographs provided by them or stock images of public domain masterpieces.
• Our paintings are not photographic reproductions and will differ from the originals in size, signature, brushstrokes, and other details.
• Ensuring that the images are in the public domain, that their use falls within fair use provisions, or that any required copyright permissions have been granted remains the customer's responsibility.
